Cape View 1927
We tend to look at the Cape Elizabeth shoreline when we go to the beach and assume that it has never changed. Perhaps this photo will change your mind!
The cliffs and the rocky beaches are still there, but today's shoreline looks like it was visited by Johnny Appleseed and his pine tree friends since that time. The two nearest cottages in the left center are still there. The one to the right is now white and usually flys a large American flag.
