Breakers From The Beach ~1910
Then....
There have probably been more dramatic changes in beach attire than there have been in cottage design!
2 Ocean Ave is shown at the far right and still stands today as does the Breakers Inn. The Breakers sported a large barn on what is now its back parking lot, and more recently, a small cottage found its way between the two structures. There was no sea wall, and a tall person could stand on the beach and look down on Bayview Avenue.
Now....

The new sea wall is perhaps the most obvious change along the beach front. Perhaps if this were a July or August photo you could easily see the change in normal beach attire.
